Wondering where you can get a car seat?
Are you worried about the cost of a new car seat? There are organizations near you that may have free or low-cost car seats available. Please contact the resources listed for your county to find out more. These organizations have certified car seat technicians (CPSTs) on staff that can teach you how to install your car seat, how to safely harness your child, and help you decide when it’s time for the next step.

If you are pregnant, your insurance company may have programs for free seats.

Contact your local health department or home visiting program (MIHP, WISH, etc.)

If you take the SWMPQIC Birth and Beyond Class, you may be eligible to receive a free car seat.
